Martha Schoen - Real Estate Investor - CCIA volunteer since 2014
Martha is currently working full time at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital as a Supervisor of Non-Technical Operations in the Laboratory. She likes to joke that she is in charge of the team of Blood Suckers! She has a 4 year Bachelors in Healthcare and is a ASCP certified Medical Technologist. Martha recently purchased her first rental property and is working towards building her portfolio to include a minimum of 10 rentals. She is also working to include wholesaling for fast cash to be able to buy more!

Jamae' Christopher - Real Estate Investor - CCIA volunteer for a very long time!
Jamae' is a regular volunteer and long-time member of CCIA. She attends many of our meetings and workshops. Many of you may be already familiar with Jamae' as you have seen her sitting at the sales table and assisting Jane and Pam with the meeting's activities. Jamae' is a real estate investor located in the South Suburbs. She uses several creative techniques in acquiring real estate which include Lease-Options, Subject To and is currently specializing in Wholesaling.

Millie Marquez - Real Estate Investor - CCIA volunteer since 2014
Millie is one of our newest volunteers! Millie started investing in 2013 in Single Family Residences for Long Term Hold. Her goal is to acquire 3 more SFRs in the coming year.

Probably the only one in the group who is not a real estate investor! Pam met Jane Garvey through their mutual interest in gardening. She has freelanced for CCIA since 2004. At meetings you can find Pam at the Registration or Membership tables.

Sameena Khalfan - CCIA volunteer since 2008
We are always thrilled when Sam turns out to help! You can often see Sameena at the Lobby check in desk - either asking for your Membership Card or accepting Door Fees. No matter what needs doing, Sam is there to help. Sameena started out in Real Estate in 2007, shortly before joining CCIA as a Member in 2007. She started investing in Short Sales and moved on to rehabbing - doing multiple properties simultaneously. Wholesaling will be in the near future. Running numbers comes natural to Sam with her background in Accounting. One of her goals is to start accumulating long term rental properties.

Mark Madorin - NTN Chicago
Mark Madorin is a CCIA Member, Investor, Landlord, Former Manager of a Mortgage Banking Company, Baseball Coach and Current Owner of NTN Chicago. National Tenant Network (NTN) provides comprehensive residential tenant screening services to landlords, property managers and leasing agents, along with numerous educational resources, tools, tips and updates. Without such services, landlords are subject to financial loss that adds up to hundreds of millions of dollars nationwide each year.

CCIA is an organization run by M. Jane Garvey & a very lean staff.  We are only able to do what we do because of the incredible selflessness of our volunteers!  What a blessing it is having so many brilliant minds and wonderful people available at the local level!  We appreciate every bit of the time and energy our volunteers give in order to make CCIA what it is.  Many of these people have served in leadership positions within CCIA for many years. James F. Cunningham, CPA, MST
Jim has volunteered at CCIA meetings for many years as our "Ask The Accountant" help desk. Jim works with real estate investors, business owners and high net worth individuals to reduce their income tax obligations through the use of creative tax strategies. He has 30+ years experience as a CPA and tax adviser in the public accounting industry. Jim is also a real estate investor, having owned single & multi-family rentals, HUD properties, commercial real estate and vacation rental property.
